Niedersachsen Tickets

Niedersachsen tickets are valid within the whole VBN – therefore also in Bremen! Further more Niedersachsen tickets can also be used on the following tracks:

-         within the area Hamburg (Ring A and B)
-         in Hessen between Hedemünden – Gertenbach – Eichenberg – Friedland (Han)

Therefore either the start or the destination hast to be in Niedersachsen!

-         In Nordrhein-Westfalen between:
Salzbergen – Rheine – Ibbenbüren-Laggenbeck – Osnabrück Hasetor – Bruchmühlen- Bünde – Löhne – Minden – Bückeburg
Minden – Petershagen-Lahde – Lesse-Stozenau
Osnabrück-Hasetor – Halen – Achmer
Löhne – Vlotho – Rinteln
Holzminden – Lüchtringen – Otterbergen – Lauenförde-Beverungen

Participating enterprises which use the tracks mentioned above are besides the DB AG the NordWestBahn, the metronom and the EVB. Niedersachsen tickets are only accepted on trains “IRE”, “RE” and “RB”. First class use is not possible with the Niedersachsen ticket.

Depending whether you travel on your own or with fellow passengers, you have the choice of a single ticket or a group ticket. The single ticket is – as its name says – only valid for one person. The group ticket can be used in different ways. Are you travelling as a family, it is valid for the parents or grandparents – means two adults – and all own children or grandchildren between age 6 and under  age 15. Otherwise the ticket can be used from a group of a maximum of five persons.

Children younger than age 6 travel free.

With the Niedersachsen ticket you are mobile for a whole day. On weekdays validity starts at 9 o'clock and on weekends and holidays already at 0 o'clock. Validity always ends at the end of business hours, means at 3 o'clock the next morning.

Niedersachsen tickets are available at our BSAG sales places at advance booking and also at our vehicles.
