New timetables for routes 1 - 64 from March 2010

12. März 2010

Timetables for Bremen-City 2010/2011

A new timetable 2010/2011, valid for one year, will be effective from Saturday, 20. March 2010, for the routes 1-66 of the Bremer Straßenbahn AG (BSAG) in Bremen-City, Lilienthal and Stuhr. It will be valid for one year, that means until 15. April 2011. Compared to the old timetable, the basic offer of the new timetable will be the same on the most routes. But there are improvements for routes 26 (Überseestadt), and 61-64 (districts GVZ, Strom and Seehausen).

The most important facts are:

  • The new timetables are valid until 15. April 2011
  • During the summer holidays a holiday schedule will be valid for the entire course plan of the BSAG from 24. June until 6. August 2010, about which information will be given in time
  • From 9. October 2010 some routes will have extra tours for seasonal reasons, which are marked on the timetables
  • In Bremen-North and Oslebshausen the familiar yearly timetable will be valid until 11. December 2010. Generally this is also for the VBN regional bus and rail routes
  • From Monday to Friday, in the morning and in the afternoon, route 6 offers at least a close six minutes regular service. From 6. April 2010 until 23. June 2010, 11. October 2010 until 21. December 2010 and 5. January 2011 until 11. February 2011, it offers even a five minutes regular service

In the new timetable, better connections will be offered für the districts Güterverkehrszentrum (GVZ), Strom and Seehausen (Niedervieland):

For some tours, a special route taxi is in service, which must be called (phone: 14111). You can change at stops Reedeich Nord (route 63) and Stromer Straße (route 24)
  • Route 62 goes from Monday until Friday only between Rablinghausen and Hasenbüren, but with more tours and at least in an hourly regular service. The timetables are well-suited to the school times. You can change at stops Georg-Henschel-Straße (route 63) and Stromer Straße (route 24)
